Apple hasn't gotten into the new tech gold rush—until now. Generative AI job posts are blanketing its careers page Apple could be about to dive deeper into generative A.I. The Cupertino, Calif.-based tech giant has posted job listings for at least a dozen positions that focus on machine learning. TechCrunch reports that the job postings first appeared on April 27.

Meta's new AI models can recognize and produce speech for more than 1000 languages Meta researchers got around this problem by retraining an existing AI model developed by the company in 2020 that is able to learn speech patterns from audio without requiring large amounts of labeled data, such as transcripts.
